For Love Of Monsters

Written by: Joseph D. Stirling

He was a blue collar monster,
Trying to shriek out a living,
Like the rest of them,
He’s the best of them.
But they’ll make a mess of him,
With pitchfork and torch,
Like they’re more blessed than him.
But he’s missing something,
And he don’t know what it is.
Won’t stop stomping.

She was an out of work seamstress,
Trying to make an ends,
Like the rest of them,
She’s the best of them.
But she’ll find the test in him,
With a pretty heart and pretty smile,
And she’ll know what’s best for him.

Cause she is the bolt
In your Frankenstein neck.
She is the creature
In your Black Lagoon.
And sometime soon,
This girl will make a wolf-man of you.
